
Refund Policy
1. Overview
CloudMinister strives to provide high-quality cloud hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and web hosting services. This Refund Policy describes the conditions, process, and limitations related to refunds of fees paid for CloudMinister services. This policy applies to all products and services purchased from CloudMinister unless otherwise stated in individual service agreements or promotions.
2. Standard Refund Terms
- Customers may request a refund only if the cancellation is initiated within 30 days of the original transaction date.
- Refund requests made after the 30-day window will not be accepted.
- Refunds are granted only for unused services; fees for services already rendered or consumed are non-refundable.
- Partial refunds may be granted subject to the terms specified elsewhere in this policy.
- Payments made using cryptocurrencies, tokens, or digital assets are non-refundable due to their irreversible and volatile nature.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method unless the customer requests credit to their CloudMinister account balance. Account credit is non-transferable and may only be used to purchase CloudMinister services.
3. Products Eligible for Refund
Hosting Services (Shared, VPS, Cloud)
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- Setup fees and domain registration fees associated with hosting plans are non-refundable.
- If the hosting package included a free domain registration, the standard domain fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Upgrades and add-ons purchased separately are typically non-refundable unless explicitly stated.
Domain Registrations and Transfers
- Domain registration fees are refundable only if the request is made within 96 hours from the domain registration date.
- Domain transfer fees are refundable only if the transfer was unsuccessful and a refund requested within 30 days of payment.
- Refunds are not provided for domain renewals or privacy protection services.
- Certain ccTLDs may have special refund restrictions due to registry policies.
Dedicated Servers
- Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
- Setup fees for dedicated servers are non-refundable.
- Fees for associated domains are non-refundable or will be deducted from the refund.
Add-ons, Security Certificates, and Other Services
SSL certificates, backup services, and other add-ons follow a similar 30-day refund period. Some services such as premium support, SEO tools, or custom services may be non-refundable.
4. Non-Refundable Products and Circumstances
- Fees related to renewal of services.
- Services suspended or terminated due to violation of CloudMinister’s Terms of Service or applicable law.
- Fees paid using cryptocurrencies, tokens, or digital assets.
- Services canceled after the refund window has closed.
- Any damages or losses beyond the refund of fees paid.
5. Refund Process
- Submit a refund request via CloudMinister’s official support portal or email billing@cloudminister.com within the refund eligibility timeframe.
- Provide your account details, service information, reason for refund, and any necessary supporting documentation.
- CloudMinister will review the request and notify the customer of the decision within 7–10 business days.
- Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to the original payment method or customer account balance within 7–14 business days depending on the payment processor.
6. Special Cases
Promotional Offers and Special Deals
Services purchased with promotional discounts or free service offers may have different refund conditions specified at the time of purchase. Free domains offered as part of a promotional package are non-refundable; any refund will deduct the domain’s regular fee.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers initiating chargebacks or disputing payments without prior contact to CloudMinister support may have their accounts suspended or terminated. Fraudulent chargebacks will result in permanent suspension of services without refunds.
7. Limitations and Liability
Refunds are limited to the fees paid for the eligible service and do not include any consequential or incidental damages. CloudMinister reserves the right to decline refund requests if abuse or fraudulent activity is detected. This Refund Policy does not affect any statutory rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
